Böker Daily Knives AK1 American Tanto

A smartly designed EDC fixed-blade knife with premium materials at an accessible price. What more could a knife enthusiast ask for? With the AK1 American Tanto, developed in collaboration with young knifemaker Alex Kremer and Daily Customs, Boker delivers a handcrafted, full-tang fixed blade made in Germany that’s both versatile and budget-friendly.

Alex Kremer, born in 1993 in Fulda, Germany, began crafting his first knives at just 18. His many journeys through the vast, untamed landscapes of Scandinavia continue to fuel his creative process. The AK1 he designed features a compact American Tanto blade made from N690 stainless steel; perfect for clean, precise tasks like opening packages.

The handle scales, ergonomically shaped for comfort and made from lightweight G10, can be easily removed using the included Torx key. They’re compatible with a wide variety of replacement scales developed in partnership with Daily Customs, allowing for personalization and adaptability. The knife comes with a precision-molded Kydex sheath equipped with a clip for secure carry.
