Designed with a double bolster construction, the knife offered added protection to the high-stress ends of the handle. Its distinctive long pull (elongated nail nick) features fine serrations that could even be used to strike matches. The modern Boker Cattle Knife is a full-sized slipjoint folder, perfectly suited for both outdoor use and everyday carry in an urban setting. The historically inspired blade, with a medium point, is crafted from high-grade stainless Böhler N690 steel. A strong back spring securely holds the blade open and provides a half-stop at 90 degrees. The handle scales are made from stabilized curly birch wood in a rich brown tone. Handmade in the Boker Manufactory in Solingen and supplied with a high-quality felt pouch.
