    A standout in Yaxell’s premium line, the Super Gou Ypsilon 20 cm Chef’s Knife combines exquisite aesthetics with high kitchen performance. Crafted in Seki, Japan, this gyuto is centered around a powder‑steel core (SG2/R2) hardened to approximately 63 HRC, laminated within 193 layers of stainless steel (96 per side) to form a breathtaking Damascus pattern and improve toughness.

    The 20 cm blade features a double-bevel edge sharpened to 12°–15° per side, ideal for smooth slicing and precise control. The robust full-tang construction is complemented by a polished stainless-steel bolster and engraved end-cap, offering flawless balance. The black Micarta handle, adorned with a samurai family crest and accented with red spacers, ensures a comfortable, slip-resistant grip and further reflects careful design.

    Weighing around 215 g with an overall length of approximately 335 mm, this chef’s knife is hand-engraved with Japanese kanji meaning "Super Gou – the Samurai Spirit" and comes with a wooden maple sheath modeled after a katana saya. It's equally suited for professional kitchens and serious home cooks.
